The Community Dojo of Davis is a non-profit group in the Davis Community that is passionate about Goju Ryu Karate and so much more. The word ‘dojo’ literally means ‘place of the way’. A dojo is a space in which any discipline that can be considered to be a ‘way of life’ is taught, passed down and practiced consistently. Community Dojo of Davis is a space for many ways, not just karate. We continue to grow and intend to offer classes of all kinds. https://cdodavis.org
We have been teaching in Davis since 2011. Shihan Tony Berger, 6th degree black belt and Renshi Brenna Berger, 5th degree black belt both received their training in New York City from Hanshi David Anderson, 8th degree black belt and founder of Koguma Goju Ryu Karate.
