Dianne Feinstein is the senior senator of California, elected in 1992 as a Democrat. Although she is fairly liberal, she is far less vocal about expressing her views when compared with the junior senator of the state, Barbara Boxer.
Her husband is Richard Blum, the current Chair of the UC Regents.
