James Q. Hammond, Superintendent of Davis JUSD from 2007 to 2010. James Q. Hammond was superintendent of Davis Joint Unified School District from 2007 to 2010. Prior to coming to Davis, he served in various positions, including Superintendent, in the schools of Tukwila, Washington. He graduated from La Serna High School in Whittier, California, and received college degrees from St. Martin College, Gonzaga University, and Washington State University. He left his position at DJUSD to become Superintendent of the Ontario-Montlair School District in southern California.
