Rachel Pevsner is a creative writing student at the University of California, Davis. Her writing has appeared in The Davis Poetry Anthology, The Yolo Crow, and All the Vegetarians in Texas Have Been Shot, among others, and has also been presented to the California State Legislature in the California Holocaust Memorial Book. In 2010 she was awarded the Gene Roddenberry Memorial Scholarship for the Aspiring Writer. She will be graduating this spring with a BA in English, emphasis in Creative Writing and minors in Human Rights and Community Development.
Currently, Rachel is the Editor-in-chief of the Human Rights Journal, a playwright for The Dead Arts Society, and President of the Star Trek Club at UC Davis. However, she spends the majority of her free time counting the days until graduation.
