Halal Guys opened a location in Davis in May 2018. This location closed its doors in January of 2024. They served "American Halal Food." The menu was fairly small, and had usual dishes that are associated with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine recognizable to most Americans, as well as french fries.
The portion sizes were good for the price. Diners had to be cautious about using too many of their spicy sauce packets.
The staff was chill, friendly, and speedy.
Many residents mourn the loss of this fine eatery.
